Need to know the model number of Compaq Deskpro EN series PC

By rajavelnet ·
I have Compaq Deskpro EN series PC which has Pentium 3 and 500 MHz. I planned to format the pc and install XP on that. But i dont know the model number of PC in order to download drivers. On top of the cabin there is something called,

DPENM P500/S904011182 US
Compaq Serial Number : 6928 CKTG 0056

I only have this much information about my pc. I contacted HP instant support. They told me that my product number is 124877-005 and model is Deskpro EN 40BX-AGP-Indy and they are not sure. Pls help me to find out the model number and also where i have to look for drivers.

Thank You

it could be a Compaq Deskpro EP Desktop PC P500/810e

Driver support only goes up to Win 2000.

You could also try AIDA32 to see if you can work out your drivers.

You may also be able to use a special function to find the model more easily, but this is not included on all Compaq Computers. In Windows, press and hold down the Ctrl and Alt keys, then press the S key on the keyboard. An information dialog will be displayed. The information dialog contains the Model number and Serial number of the computer.
