Neophyte at the helm_ re: Filemaker

I’ve been given an amazing/formidable opportunity to build a database for my mid-size architecture firm using FileMaker. I’ve got the basic user knowledge and modeling knowledge, but i’ve already encountered a roadblock.

The project classification lends itself to a Super/Subtype setup. Unfortunately I haven’t found any information about how to actually set this up in Filemaker. Is it even possible?
