.Net Starter

Does anyone know of some great sites and/or books were I can learn
how to create .Net Applications. Im trying to create a webpage editing
system for the District I work at.

If you have any ideas on other languages to use id appreciate that too.

Have you considered open source options?

From your post, I am assuming you work for a school district and price is a consideration. Check SourceForge (http://sourceforge.net/index.php) for something that might meet your needs.

When going to start with .net aplliction you must know some OOPs concepts like C/C++ or something abt JAVA....

The best tutorial to start from the begining of .NET application is available at www.programmersheavn.com. Download CSharpschool "pdf" file. I assure you that it will teach you from the begining.

they have free videos on pgmg topix

acm.org the computer society has the skillsoft courses free when you join, 2500+ courses. many on vs and .net, asp, web topix. plus includes online books. $99/yr.
