Net Use command

By jroeckle ·
I have a server that is getting continuous login attempts from outside. I believe they are by way on the net use command. Is there any way to block net use requests from coming in to a server?

Not sure why you want to disable Net Use commands on a Server. Sounds like what you need is a firewall to block the commands from getting to your Server from the outside.

Typically, a Server shares information with several client machines. If you block the net use command, then clients inside won't be able to access the server.

You can set up a firewall and block all requests on port 135. That will stop your "net use hacker". If you cant set up a firewall, then disable null sessions to the server.
