NetBeui and NT
I have a small network of about 9 computers connected using NetBEUI as a protocol. I have a NT machine that i need to add. What would I have to do in order for it to properly get seen on the network?

if your network is only netbeui then the only thing you need is a unique computer name, identical workgroup/domain and the netbeui protocol. I dont know if you have a client-server setup or peer to peer. but if you have the first you need a computeraccount on the server and a user account to log in. If you have a peer to peer you just need user accounts.
hope this works if you need additional help shoot me an email

In addition to what is listed in answer one, log on using client for microsoft networks, and put file and print sharing on. Then share something, even if a: so the nt machine can be seen by others on your network.

driffting away a little but in my experience you do not have to share a drive/folder to make a pc seen in network neighbourhood. as long as file and printsharing is installed on 95/98 pc's as nt already has it.
Please correct me if i'm wrong though!!
