I recently performed a clean install of Win2K professional on a network machine that momentarily gives a “Network Cable Unplugged” message before returning to normal function repeatedly throuhout the day. The event viewer is full of NIC activation messages. Service pack 2 does not resolve it. I’ve never seen this before and MS Knowledge Base isn’t very helpful so far.
Has anyone else seen this?
