Hi all,
I’m looking for a bit of advice concerning the cabling in a network I am installing.
There is no existing cat5 cabling in the building, so this is going to be a clean install, all machines are in the same office, and the longest distance is about 6M.
What I am thinking of doing is using a hub, but can I connect direct from PC to hub without having to use Wallplate connectors, using thicknet?
If this is possible, what cabling configuration do I need, is it rossover orstraight?
