I have a NT 4.0 SP6a Member server that runs SQL7.0. About halfway throught the day anyone who tries to access the server in any way will get an error “No more network connections available”. If one or more currently connected users logout then another can attach. I have been the the MS knowledgebase and have had no luck. It is not a licensing issue. I believe that the database application being used with SQL is keeping connections open. If I reboot the server the problem goes away for a few hours. The max connections I get when the problem starts is 10 workstations. The problem also seems to be getting more severe every week. has anyone seen this behavior and know how to correct it?
