I’ve been asked to create a comprehensive network inventory. My goal to include all workstations, servers, and printers on the network, as well as specific software inventories for each workstation (to try and verify licensing compliance). I’ve used Microsoft SMS Server in the past, but I don’t really have a budget to do this. I’m interested in finding out what others have done in similar situations.
