LAN:
Win2k server (domain controller), Win98 SP1 workstations, Linux (Mandrake 8) server, Cisco adsl router.
Just brought up my first Linux server. I’ve got Samba working. My linux box appears in Network Neighborhood and I can pass files to and from it.
Problem:I just can’t seem to get the shared printer on my Win2k server to communicate with the Linux box. Unix printing services are installed. TCP\IP service is running. I added another Q for the printer with an LPR port. At Linux box I tried Setting SAMBA (using SWAT) to cups and can’t see the network printers using Mandrake or Kups. Tried setting SAMBA to use LPRing, same story.
