Networking job help

By zlitocook ·
Ok I have read tons of stuff on networking and job help. This seems like a great place to start it, alot of people in the field and wanting to help others. Ok I have resumes in monster board, dice, Moworks ect. But the offers do not meet the settings I applied like only in MO. only full time ect. Is there a way for us to talk about jobs we know and send them to each other?

are you asking for job leads through this board? If so, then just post that you're in the St. Louis area, have XXXXXXXX skills, and are looking for a position, then see if any leads come of it... The biggest thing, is that you need to be more assertive. There are hundreds of sites out there for jobs, go "search for them" on google. Find all the engines you can, write a great resume, and post it on all of them. Then search them every day and don't rely on automated agents to do it for you. Also, write a custom cover letter to each hiring manager you apply with, and get an interview. I hope this helps.

Agree with Jason

Yep, agree with Jason's comments .. be specific with cover letter, but also gear your CV to each role if you have time - it's quality of application taht gets results, not quantity.
Have a look at - not sure where you're based, but some links there that may be of use for e-networking.
