New building same block – interim connectivity

by techrepublicaaa21 . Updated 22 years, 10 months ago

Hello, just mining for some intelligent suggestions here. In twelve month we are moving from a really old 15k sq ft building into a new 30k s.f. facility on the same block about 50 yards due East. We own the entire block. There will be a 2-4 week moving period where I want the LAN’s of the two connected. I am wondering what others who have gone through this may have done to provide this connectivity. I am considering working with the builders to bury a fiber line between them, but have also toyed with the idea of using wireless networking with directional antennae. Any thoughts out there? TIA – Chris
