    How do you get rid of some of the items listed when you right click on the desktop and select new?

      I don’t have the answer right at hand but I believe it involves a Registry hack. It would be helpful to know what OS you are asking about (Win95, Win98, NT, W2K, etc).

        I figured that it was. But I still don’t know where in the registery.
