Hello,

I just bought a new HP Pavilion a1730n, Vista and Nivida graphics. I prefer to run Mozilla/Firefox, but must use IE7 for some things, I am finding that certain things are just not working.
First, I get allot of error messages when downloading audio/video on my WMP11, I was downloading a radio podcast last when I got this one,
***An audio codec is needed to play this file. To determine if this codec is available to download from the Web, click Web Help.***
I went the WMP site for codecs and it said it didnt have them and to look elsewhere on the web,This was the message after
***You might be able to find it on another site by searching the Web for “50” (this is the WaveFormat or FourCC identifier of the codec)**
( THEY dont even have their own codecs)? I dont get that one, anyway…
It also said I needed Microsoft MPEG-1 (50)

I looked around but am so new to this I am afraid to just download what I think, there are always other issues to with viewing some videos, opening some audios….but I have no clue what I need, nor where to find them.
Anyone who can steer me in the right direction, would sure be appreciated.

My other issue….I try to click on “MySpaces”, part of MSN….it wont let me sign in,it just flips me back to signing in, before this it wouldn’t let me download anything or make changes like adding pics..
I have no idea if anyone can advise on that one, I deleted all temp files, cache, and things like that, but still, nothing.
Thanks so much,
Loretta
