In one of our offices we installed a new server with NT 4.0 , the server was first a BDC and then promoted to PDC, the old server was taken out of the network after a couple of days.
Now a strange thing happens once in a while.
The users get the the message : No domain controller cannot be found .
The login serveral times , nothing wrong with their password but no login.
Then when we synchronize the domain, (strange because their is no BDC) they can login again.
We cannot find anything in the eventviewer , and the set audit security on for all events
Who can help me with this one ?
