No Matter In Document

I have Windows 2000 server. On that I have installed Office 2000. When I double click and open any word document it does now show any contents. But if first i open a blank document and the from that goes to file – open and then open the same document it shows the contents of the file.

I Uninstalled and installed office 2000. I also tried to repair it. But of no use…

What could be the problem and what’s the
solution ?
