By jew5393 ·
When applying for a job on a web site, a message comes up "failure to locate microsoft office". Is there a way to confiure the website to access a web based email like yahoo.com?

Do you mean that you do not have any email software on your system?

If not then you can download thunderbird:
http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/thunderbird/all.html
Click on your language type and just figure the settings that you should have got from your ISP.

Or go here:

With Windows Operating Systems post Vista...

It will be necessary to download the Windows Live Mail component to access web-based email. The configuration changes needing to be made are on your own PC, not the website. There is an application that makes this a simple process. It is available at http://gmaildefault.codeplex.com/. Though made for gmail it will provide you the option for other email providers as well. Good luck.
