No Network Logon Box...

By HappyG17 ·
To whom it may concern:
A machine running Win95 is having problems with logging on to our network. I tried to uninstall and reinstall protocols, etc., but the machine keeps asking for Win95 Floppy disks for files and I can not find those disksanywhere. The machine does not have a CD player and I can't share one because the stupid thing won't log on to the network. Is there anything I can check to see why the Windows networking box will not appear? Please help.

If you click logoff on the Start menu, and then logon, does the box appear? If so then run regedit and delete the following entry in the following registry key:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Network\Real Mode Net
AutoLogon=xx

Thanks, but I was in the process of typing about how I already solved it while I read your answer.
