I have a cable modem connected to a Win2000 machine. I am trying to VPN into the cable modem from the internet…but when I try to tell Win2000 to except incoming connections(via the add new network connections wizard), it only displays the LPT1 and the 56K modem for possible means of connecting to the machine. I need the NIC card to be an option in the box to choose from because I will be connecting via the internet through a cable modem. Please help.
