No of controls on a form in Access 2000

How many controls can you place on a form before the form bombs? Same for subforms? Both theoretically and from a practical perspective.

Theoretically:

There is no limit to the number of controls you can place on a Form and you can cascade 8 form levels - Master + 7 subforms.

Practical:

Your resolution settings dictate how much of the form displays at on time and it is NOT agood idea to force users to scroll through a single Form. Also it is silly to place more controls on a Form than there are management functions for the data it displays. Normalized databases generally have MANY function specific Forms accessed through a custom Desktop (or Start-up Form). I have seldom been able to cascade more than two subforms while still displayihg meaningful data in each?
