no pictures in Outlook 2000 email

When I receive HTML-formatted messages in Outlook 2000, the images show up as the classic “Red X” from IE, indicating the picture could not be downloaded.

I checked the “show pictures” setting in IE 5.5, and don’t know of any such setting in Outlook.

Any ideas?
