No VIdeo Input

Hi i'm new in TEchRepublic,i'm working as IT in on of tha ComputerShops in Kosovo,I have formated a Desktop PC in windows and all drivers work well but sometimes start a PC sometimes i get message"NO VIdeo INput".I checked tha cable installed a new Graphic Card,I hava e onboad VGA and galaxy GForce 8400gs,I look the forums they say that can be a motherboard mulfunctionin',PSU etc ect..I need Professionals help

See it being the MB unless your GC is on board, if you have spare PCI slot check with spare GC.

did you try enable/disable the onboard video via BIOS?

Did you try booting into safemode and see if your graphics look ok? Also try updating the BIOS to the latest patch.

You have a system that is intermittently displaying the No Video Input on the Monitor when it is turned on.

If that is the case try replacing the Power Supply with a Known Good one and see if that makes a difference.

I have seen cases in the past where a failing Power Supply causes this to happen and in one case when it finally died the owner bought a new M'Board, CPU, RAM and everything but a Power Supply and this didn't make any difference. When they finally brought it to me I replaced the PS and it's worked ever since. I also supplied another case and PS and they now have a second system.

The symptoms are that the monitor remains blank when there is no power to the computer but when you turn it on you get the No Video Message.
