Non SAAS CRM Product

by jimmy.leonardo007 In reply to non SAAS CRM Product

I know what you mean. I work for a large bank and due to the security issues common to the financial sector and I was looking for a solution that I could purchase and put behind my firewall. I found that so many CRM companies, including Salesforce, only offered a SaaS solution.
I was reading about a Forrester Research survey found that only 16 percent of respondents were using or testing software-as-a-service, while 37 percent said they were not at all interested. Integration and TCO concerns, as well as limited options for customization were the top three reasons cited for not adopting SaaS, according to the survey.
I liked having the option to choose one platform or the other. I found a couple of companies like Microsoft CRM and EnterpriseWizard that offer both platforms. It?s pretty cool that EnterpriseWizard even offers an option to start out as a SaaS model and move it behind your firewall at some later point, all with a couple mouse clicks.
For further details you can visit http://www.enterprisewizard.com

If your organization already has an ERP system...

...chances are, the vendor will have a CRM module you can bolt onto it.

Additionally, if you ever want to go to something like a Shared Services infrastructure, you can use Goldmine from Frontrange, and then integrate that down the road with HEAT and the FrontRange IVR system.

Finally, you can search at www.capterra.com. You'll be able to find some CRM software that way.

Best of luck!
