I have a user that gets an error everytime she closes word, outlook or a form letter in the program we use for our form letters. It uses word to edit ect.

I tried deleting the and opening word to create a new but that didnt work. I had another user that had like 5 so we deleted them and she hasnt had her problem since.

But this other user, Im not sure whats going on. She says she gets the "do you want to save to the global template" atleast 5 times a day. Of course it asks twice if you want to save and then finally closes word.

Can anyone help? Suggest? Thank you for your time.

Sounds like an add-in

I have run into issues with Acrobat add-ins many times, and this sounds similar, except those ones usually do it when opening and closing Word, Excel.

Anyway, look for add-ins to disable or look in the startup directories for the Office version (like xlstart) for files. Also, search the system for any .dot files in the user profile or Office directory. It may not be called
