Insert the second of the two Norton disks into the server. From the menu, choose "install Norton Anti-virus to clients". Within a few screens, the dialogue box should show the clients in the left pane and your server in the right pane. By highlighting each client and clicking "add", you should be able to install the software to all the clients from the server.
Good luck!

Mike

in system administration console, you create a server group that contains the servers and clients much like creating OU's for a network. Installing NAV to clients is as the first answer said. Also you can install NAV across the network to clients asa package. version 8 should have a packager on the CD to create packages for delivery to clients.

You dont have to install the clients from cd, Go to the Server through network neighborhood, and open the VPHOME folder, with in the VPHOME Dir, open Clt-inst then win32 then select setup, I run my command through the run feature \\SERVERNAME\VPHOME\CLT-INST\WIN32\Setup.exe
This will register the clients with the correct server, Then within the Symantec Service center you want to clear the cache.. then setup the routines

Hope this helps

Look for the Rollout\NTClient folder, and run NTRemote.exe contained within. This gives you the dual pane view mentioned above and you can add the clients in the left pane to the server in the right pane.
