"Not a registered OLE server"

By alanevs ·
After reloading Office 2000 in hopes of correcting disfunctional 'Calendar' object in 'Outlook 2000'; none of my applications, most importantly AutoCAD LT, can any longer insert or update an OLE field in Access 2000. I'm prompted to reinstall the application, to no avail. Any clues?

Sounds like you need to re-register the .OCX you are using in Access to interface with AutoCad (Tools, ActiveX Controls).

I ended up getting a new PC, so the point was moot; however, I'm not sure how to re-register the .ocx other than to reinstall both applications; which I did. I frankly can't be 100% certain if I uninstalled both applications, but I'm reasonablyconfident that I did.
Anyway, I could still attempt to fix the problem, as I use the old PC for programming at home.
