not able to logon to MSN Messenger

Hello All,

I am not able to log onto to MSN Messenger eventhough I am able to logon to Hotmail using the same account. This problem started about a couple of weeks ago. I was able to log on and use messenger without any problems earlier and then all of sudden I would get logged out every couple of minutes. To avoid the problem I removed messenger and reinstalled it and now cannot log in at all!

any help would be greatly appreciated.
