I have a new computer with Windows 11. Sometimes, when I am creating an email, I attempt to attach a file but get a message that the file is ‘not implemented’. What does that mean and how do I implement?

This may or may not be the issue

But many email services now block the attachment of certain types of files, such as no EXE files allowed, as a means of reducing the spread of malware. What type of file(s) are you experiencing this message with?

      What e-mailprogram do you use?
Does this happen for all files you attach or only for some? If only for some, what do they have in common?

https://www.google.com/search?q=email+%22not+implemented%22 makes me think it might be you use Outlook. Then it’s not a Windows issue, but an Outlook issue. What version and how did you install it?

But the most important problably is that you try the solutions from the Google search results. There might be one that solves it.

Please tell the outcome of the issue.
