Nothing synched after synchronization

I have a couple users that I support which use a treo and Palm V that are having problems synching with their desktop. They are both using the same versions of the Palm Desktop and Hotsync. When they synch, Hotsync claims that it synchs each item (calendar, address book, etc) but nothing actually synchs. One user was told to upgrade his Palm V to something else but I don’t buy it. I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling the software and removing the profile from the PC. We are using Palm Desktop 4.x, Hotsync and Chapura PocketMirror.

Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

If you are using Chaputra Pocket Mirror, you’re synchronizing with Outlook. Go see in the Outlook of the user and delete the note, under PocketMirror, name with the username of the person (the one enter in the palm … it should have only one). And synch again … should work.

I have already tried this. I deleted the note from outlook AND deleted the user from Palm Desktop. Everytime the Palm connects, it tries to use what appears to be a profile on the Palm itself and wont use any other profile.

Resolved the issue. Had to make the users local admins to the box.
