One of our customer need to upgrade their NT 4 ENT Cluster to W2K Adv Cluster. Actually the exsiting cluster only have file sharing resource, don’t have the other application, and it is only a member virtual server. It have allow three day downtime.I’m thinking that using the rolling upgrade. Process: pause 1 st node — take out from the cluster group — clean install W2K adv at 1 st node — join to cluster group — pause 2 nd node — take out from the cluster group — clean install W2K adv at2 nd node. I want to ask, is it possible to form a cluster server that NT 4 and W2K coexist in the upgrade process? If yes, is there any things need to pay attention in the upgrade process? Thanks!
