I am bidding on a project on migrating windows nt 4.0 to win2k3 server. After doing an exaustive research on my part, I cannot find the definitive answer to my Q .
My q is:
When I migrate, how the hell can I migrate all the user settings, profiles, trusts, policies etc, without compromise? 23 users 1 nt server 4.0 VPN with some ras. I was fine when I did a 3.5 to 4.0 migration, but this one has a little more stuff to it. Its a small office, and it should be straight forward. So What I would like is a general guidline on how to keep the user prof’s, trusts,policies etc without being compromised by the upgrade. Then I’ll spill what I did and then maybe I can see where I might go wrong, thx in advance
