NT 4.0 TS install - cant find hard disks

By peter.berger@genexsrvcs ·
Rebuilding an HP Proliant ML370 G1 with Microsoft NT 4.0 Terminal Services. I cannot get the install to find the internal SCSI hard disks. I don't know where to find the drivers that I need to put on the floppy to press F6 during the install. I've checked HP's drivers site and these all seem to be Win32 drivers (useful once I can get into Windows). I checked the DOS area of the ML370's drivers area and there are no SCSI drivers for install either. Is there a generic or specific driver I can download/use to get the NT4.0 TS install program to see my disks? Any help/411 would be great. Thanks in advance.

You should find the driver you need at
http://h18023.www1.hp.com/support/files/server/us/locate/7_4307.html#23.
In the bios setup menu you can check out which SCSI controller card is installed in the machine .
You could also try downloadin an older version of the smartstart software (5.X) which should provide support for Windows NT. It is also found on HP:s support website.

Did you tried the win32 drivers, those should be it, hp might have a strange name to refer to those.

I know I used those when installing w2k (at pressing f6 step).

Success
