Trusty old LANalyzer will watch the network, if you have a NIC you can put into permiscuious mode.

If you have SMS/NT Resource Kit, there should be a Network Monitor App included.

MRTG 9http://ee-staff.ethz.ch/~oetiker/webtools/mrtg/mrtg.html) is also a good option, and it is free.

Beyond those, if your network warrents it, NetScout makes excellent probes and has very good software for monitoring the network. We have used it to isolate many client issues. Also, there is HP's Network Node Manager and IBM/Tivoli NetView.

The question is how are you doing this, CSNW on the Nt client, with Novell & NT servers mixed? Try SMS, on an NT box, add Reskit, Take a look at ZenWorks,(http://www.techrepublic.com/article.jhtml?id=/column/r00220000105eje01.htm) as well. Tim alsoLook at http://www.netopia.com/software/tb2/, Timbuktu is not just for Mac anymore..This is another solution. MOre than likely you will have to look to one main, and a helper app. -al
