nt network redhat client

By mktz ·
I have a nt network and want to connect a Redhat 7.2 client. Can someone explain to me each step involved in this. I also need to configure the client to receive a dhcp address. Please try not to leave out any steps I am new to linux.
Thanks

Under X, open an xterm window and type "netcfg". You may be prompted for root's password.
On the first tab shown, enter your hostname/domain and nameservers as required.
Then select the Interfaces tab and highlight the network card attached to your network. Click edit and set the protocol to DHCP. Click done, then click on activate. The status should update to active and you will have an IP address.
If you have a network router, you may need to add this to the 4th tab.

Any problems post back :)
