Gentlemen,
When I install NT Server 4.0 on my unit I receive a message that reads; setup can not find hard disk partiton prepared by ms-dos portion of setup. When you run ms-dos setup for NT setup program you must specify a temp drive. I’ve set thehd in bios as auto and user defineable, formatted the disk and started the install over, but each time to no avail. My previous OS was 98 and I had no problem at all.I use the winnt command under
the i386 dir. The unit is an Asus P5A system bd. AMD 450 KIII chip, 96 MB Ram and 10 GB Fujitsu drive.
