NT VPN setup floppies

By adrianh ·
Hi all
I need to develop a way to get future users of our soon to be created NT PPTP VPN configured without going to their houses, many 35+ miles away. Is there any way I could create a script that would install the MS VPN adapter, client, then configure it? Please remember that I do have a good knowledge of batch files, but beyond that, scripting aint my bag. Scripting totally throws me. I am mostly an applications break fix/hardware guy. Probably something along the lines of WSH, eh?

Well I had the same problem, but I found a great MS utility cal "CMAK" >> Connection Manager Administrator Kit.
With this kit you can created very easy new Dial-Up connections, with there own Icons etc. Very powerful tools.
Look in TechNet under CMAK or the little link;
http://www.microsoft.com/TechNet/IE/reskit/ie5/part3/ch14conn.asp

It will create a exe file that your able to e-mail and deploy. That simple.

The first answer looks good to me. If that doesn't work, try something else. Hope this helps
