NT4.0 to W2k server conversion

By osocold ·
I have completed the upgrade(fresh install) of 10 workstations (95/9 to W2kpro (NTSF) and am (somewhat) ready to begin the server upgrade from NT4.0 to W2ksvr.

The W2kpro installs went relatively clean. Had some issue with dos programs but the vendors readily provided the upgrades/fixes. All workstations are working ok with the NT4.0 server.

We host our own mail server and two (VERY DULL) web sites on the NT4.0 server. The workstations utilize 4 in-house designed MSAccess frontend/backend database programs. Each workstation currently maintains their own Documents directories.

It is my intention to install W2kserver as a domain server and take advantage central data storage and roaming profiles ( as employees move around quite abit).

Any comments/suggestions?
