Ocr, Autocad or what?? Please Help!!!

Not greatly qualified in this but got dumped with the question, is there an equivilant of ocr that recognises blue prints or tech drawings, street maps etc
got loads of data to transfer to discs (from paperwork)
but it must be accessable and amendable
