alt text for images not visible in mozilla browser. ( not mozilla's infernal exploiter clone - firefox, the real browser, the full suite )

not in linux at least.

no idea if alt text works in ff, as I can't stand the ie style interface it has.

it does work in lynx.

ALT text in images in Mozilla and FireFox

On Windows and MacOS: ALT= text for images doesn't work in Mozilla/FireFox there either.

I use TITLE= text as a workaround for this.

turn image rendering off and check tr out, they have alt text for all the images and with mozilla suite in linux it doesn't work... just a huge space visible.

with lynx it works, you get the text for non image capable browsing.
