OE 6 Blocking senders

By fcassano ·
Every sender I add to my blocked senders list is gone after I go off line and back on again.
This feature was working fine for years until I decided to delete all the blocked senders on the list, one by one. I have tried reloading explorer
6.0 to no avail. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

OE 6 Blocking senders

by Todd Kimbrell In reply to OE 6 Blocking senders

This is a common issue with Microsoft. However, we should look at your registry and see what it
has in there: Goto Regedit and Branch the following:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Identities\{8C2B4235-8610-459E-A988-9BB4293943A4} | Software | Microsoft | Outlook Express | 5.0 | then find criterial | 000 | and the following should be there:

Default
Flags
Logic
Type
Value Type

If you do not have these dwords then let me know and i can get you the proper registry entries to make this work.

Best Regards!

In my registry under block senders I have mail then 2 subfolders, Actions/000 and Criteria/000/001/002/003 etc.
Actions/000 is showing.. default/flags & type only
Criteria/000 is showing... default/flags/logic/type/value(haha virus) and value type.
It appears that there is 47 blocked senders under Criteria but I still can't see them in the outlook express program??
Thanks Frank

Then delete the criteria and value strings in your registry and re-setup your blocked senders in outlook express.

tk.

okay, i am going to email you the OE Block Senders portion to import into your registry. I have tested it on mine to make certain. When you import this, go into OE and add the senders you wish to block. This should get you going.

Would not import the file, says it's not registry script.
Anybody else have any ideas?
