Since downloading Office 2000 SR1a One of my machines has disabled the default links on the Office Shortcut Bar. The properties page for each button is grayed out. When these buttons are clicked it says it’s running a Nortons scan in the taskbar butno dialog box opens for about 2 seconds. Then the box opens saying scan completed with no details. Re-installation nor detect and repair has any effect. All non-office files that have been added function fine. If I add a second shortcut button of 1 that is grayed it also grays out the new buttons properties. If I load a button, say for Word, it will work as long as I don’t use the default MS Word label for it. Calling it Word.exe works fine. This isn’t major but it is frustrating. Any and all help will be appreciated.
