Office XP Pro & Office 2000 Pro

By dteti ·
Is there any known issues, documentation NOT to have both of these running on the same network. For the reasons of file coruption and any other problems that may come with people using 2 different versions of Office on the same network (not the same computer)

Thanks,

I am not aware of any problems if the installations are on separate machines. The only real incompatibilities are between Access 2000 and 2002, but we've all dealt with that going from 97 to 2000. I exchange files regularly between 2000 and 2002 andbetween Windows 2000 and XP.

No,I can't say that I have encountered any issues with Office XP and Office 2000 on a network that I have setup on a lab system that I have Office XP loaded on Win 98 and Windows 2000 on W2K Pro and using to transfer files and folders.
