Before I start, I just wanted to state that I already know that I can do a uninstall and reinstall. Since I would like to avoid that, an acceptable answer will be one that solves the problem without unstalling. That will be my last resort as I have spent much time customizing the app the way I like it.
I just started to experience a weird problem with the Office Shortcut toolbar. I’m using Office XP Small Business, and the toolbar worked fine for about 6 months or so.
Now however, when you click on an icon on ANY panel, a dialog comes up that prompts me to choose a program to open the file with. I’ve tried removing the existing buttons and adding them, but to no avail. I tried using
the Repair option to fix any errors that their might be, and also tried reinstalling the Suite.
Before I do a complete uninstall and reinstall, I was wondering if anyone else has encountered this problem and be able to offer suggestions to fix it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
