    What website project used global home PC computers to act as part of their server in the late 2010s in order to act as a massive computer ?

      Two things I remember:
      – Seti@home to search for extra-terrestial intelligence, but started in 1999 and is no longer active.
      – Hacking PC’s to run bitcoin mining software. But I wouldn’t call that a project.

      So probably you mean something else.
