OnePlus 10 Pro vs Google Pixel 7 Pro

For the specs (256gb Memory, 12gb RAM) the price for an unlocked phone is the same. I do have 2 simcards, one physical and one eSIM, but I’m ok using my old phone for the eSIM if needed. I’d purchase the US versions.

Any thoughts? I’ve been a oneplus user since the One, but I have a 5T and it’s really time to upgrade. I’m not a super technical person, but I like being able to personalize my menus. Lastly, I know the pixel doesn’t have a slider like newer phones do for switching between ring/vibrate/silent mode and that is pretty annoying, but any other major differences/operating flaws would be appreciated! Thanks!!

I bought the Pixel 7 and it’s fine. I wanted straight up Android without a maker applying their skins or own apps. I got exactly that.

Also, that slider? Fluff. What it has works fine.

Google Pixel 7 Pro vs OnePlus 10 Pro: Which 2022 flagship should you buy?
Both phones are sub-$1,000 flagships with great hardware, but which phone should you get?

The Google Pixel 7 Pro is truly one of the best Android phones to buy in 2023 due in large part to its slightly lower price compared to the competition. It certainly has the edge over a lot of flagships handsets when it comes to value, and it’s still a top-tier flagship and Google’s best.

But there’s one phone that matches the Pixel 7 Pro’s value proposition by offering high-end flagship specs and features at a relatively cheaper price: the OnePlus 10 Pro, which you can buy for just $549 right now during the holiday season. Not only is it a few hundred dollars cheaper than the Pixel 7 Pro, but it’s also backed with a top-of-the-line spec sheet to woo performance enthusiasts. So which phone is better to buy in 2023?

As of my knowledge cutoff in September 2021, there was no official announcement of a Google Pixel 7 Pro. However, based on the specs and features of the latest models from OnePlus and Google, here’s a comparison between the OnePlus 10 Pro and the Google Pixel 6 Pro:

      Display:

      1. OnePlus 10 Pro: 6.7-inch AMOLED display with QHD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate
      2. Google Pixel 6 Pro: 6.7-inch AMOLED display with QHD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate

      Processor:

      1. OnePlus 10 Pro: Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 with Adreno 730 GPU
      2. Google Pixel 6 Pro: Google Tensor processor with Adreno 730 GPU

      Camera:

      1. OnePlus 10 Pro: Quad-camera setup with 50MP main camera, 64MP ultrawide camera, 8MP telephoto camera, and 3MP monochrome camera
      2. Google Pixel 6 Pro: Triple-camera setup with 50MP main camera, 12MP ultrawide camera, and 48MP telephoto camera

      Battery:

      1. OnePlus 10 Pro: 4500mAh battery with fast charging and wireless charging
      2. Google Pixel 6 Pro: 5000mAh battery with fast charging and wireless charging

      Operating System:

      1. OnePlus 10 Pro: Android 12 with OxygenOS 12 skin
      2. Google Pixel 6 Pro: Android 12 with Pixel Experience skin

      Other features:

      1. OnePlus 10 Pro: In-display fingerprint scanner, IP68 rating for water and dust resistance, 5G connectivity
      2. Google Pixel 6 Pro: In-display fingerprint scanner, IP68 rating for water and dust resistance, 5G connectivity, Google Assistant, and exclusive Pixel features.

Both smartphones have top-notch features, but the Google Pixel 6 Pro may have an edge in the camera department with its advanced computational photography and AI features. while the OnePlus 10 Pro has a slightly bigger battery and offers an OxygenOS 12 skin with more customization options. Ultimately, choosing between the two will depend on your preferences and priorities.
