    Online Bootcamp Courses

    Hi everyone,

    Has anyone taken online coding bootcamps and found them helpful and worth the cost? I’m changing careers into becoming a web developer. I have come across General Assembly, Coding Dojo, Fullstack, App Academy, Hackreactor, and Careerfoundry . Any other good alternatives? Did it help you get a job as a web developer?

      My employment has been because I built my portfolio along with classes and work for companies over the years. I don’t see that changing anytime soon.

      Also, there’s the problem with many companies don’t need a “web developer.” Companies can use commerce solutions (no code!) to get their products on the web. Most of what they need are folk with good photo and photoshop skills along with product managers that help with the product descriptions. After that there’s the SocMe and SEO folk.
