Open JPEG and GIF files in Win Explorer

I read the article about adding options to context windows in Explorer and followed the directions. I want GIF and JPEG files to open with MSPAINT under C:\Programs\Accessories. When I go through the process of file association I end up with an error message: “C:\My.BMP was not found” What does this mean and how do I remedy it?
