Open the case

By mis ·
I'm trying to repair an older (probably 5 years?)Acer PC and I'm at a loss - I don't know how to open the case. There are 2 "clips" near the front on the sides, but pulling them seems to have no effect. Anybody got any ideas?

Remove front panel

Have you tried removing the front cover.

I have found with most "unknown cases" that removing the front panel will do wonders.

BAsically the only real advice someone can give you is when I find a case that I have no clue how it comes apart. Is be a detective. Follow the lines and don't be afraid to take it apart.

Alot of screws are hidden so you may have to search for them.

Can't get that off, either

Thanks for the tips. It's beginning to look like I'm going to have to not be afraid to break it. And as soon as I do that, I will discover that the method of opening it should have been really obvious...

My Sister had that case.... it kind of is a pain. The clips pull out to the sides and then the whole thing slides. It gets stuck a lot though, especially if it hasn't been opened for a while. We finally upgraded it and got a new case. If you need more info, mail me and I'll send you a pic of it opened.
