Openstack on Ubuntu

By nexusguy59 ·
Hello Everyone,

I installed Openstack pertaining to Jack's Article located here -> https://www.techrepublic.com/article/how-to-install-openstack-on-a-single-ubuntu-server-virtual-machine/

The issue I am having is it put the public network on 172.24.4.0/24 and the private network on a 10. However I am able to connect via the NIC IP of 192.

So how am i supposed to connect my instances out to the internet?

Thanks,
Michael

nexusguy59,

In your local.conf file, you can try adding lines like this:

FLOATING_RANGE=192.168.1.224/27
FIXED_RANGE=10.11.12.0/24
FIXED_NETWORK_SIZE=256
FLAT_INTERFACE=eth0

I'll do a follow up piece to this that will cover the issue.
