I recently downloaded Oracle 8i personal edition from technet.com ,when i tried to install the typical installation option,the software install’s upto 67% and hangs up saying a message < jrew has perfomed unauthorized operation on javarew.dll > and i coudld not install the product after that.when i ignore that and install everything looks fine.But my Database server refuses to start and personal navigater shows an error while opening..Should it be neccessary install Net8 and configure for personal ORACLE 8i???
